Tool Review: My new love...Canva.com

I have always wondered where people found all of their cute graphics for social media, and now I wonder how many of them are from Canva! If you have not had a chance to try it out, let me try and persuade you to do so!

The site is incredibly user friendly; if you can drag and drop, you can use Canva. Don't know where to start? There are templates for almost anything you can think of, and these templates are completely adjustable! Like the wedding invitation template, but want to use it to create an advertisement for socks, you go girl (or guy)! Some of the features that are locked for "Pro," but there are enough free ones to use that you will not feel like you are missing out.

Something that concerns me when I create and post online is copyright and giving proper attribution. Using Canva I can create and share without worry, as long as I follow their Free Media License Agreement. Canva helps you actually understand these by adding in easy to read/understand comments about their terms! Check it out here https://about.canva.com/license-agreements/free-media/.

Here are a few graphics I have created using Canva:

  1. Canva is great and it seems to just continue to get better. It is nice to be able to easily create something great. I have used it for several years to create awards for my students.
