And Diigo is his name-o

Frankie is tired of me being on the computer. I will have to make this quick ;)

One of the online tools I have started using this week is Diigo. I love that you not only tag and bookmark, but that you also annotate. Diigo allows freestyle tagging, which Dennen, Bagdy, and Cates' (2018) study state "The freestyle approach is helpful because it allows the users to customize the tagging process and include classifications that are personally meaningful and to tag items that are perhaps tangentially relevant to the overall purpose but nonetheless important."

I would think most people have had experience with freestyle tagging in the form of #'s. The concept with Diigo is the same, along with the social aspect of it, you can share your tags with others.

Diigo also allows you to annotate while you read, add sticky notes, and highlight the text. All of this you can share as well.

Working with Diigo, I feel like I have just scratched the surface, but I am excited to continue using the tool!
